Default GSR swap into 98 dx coupe, mount questions

so i finally got a b18c1 for my 98 dx coupe, im going over all my parts and stuff, and i realized i dont have the two lower mounts, i have the rear mount, driverside mount and passenger side mount, but no lower torque mount on either side, i searched around but found nothing, all the hasport and innovative mounts just come with the three mounts i already have... no way i could run without them, can i upgrade to hasport mounts or innovative mounts and run without them? are they stiff enough? i cant find anything on the torque mounts, input would be nice.

again, b18c1 into ek coupe

If you want a smooth runnin car use the top three mounts. new oem mounts will do...and nothing will vibrate. avids or hasports.... your whole dash and steering wheel is gonna vibrate like hell for a daily driver. either way I hardly ever use those lower torque mounts anyways. They are nice to have if u have them but if you dont no biggy. But if you want it nice and smooth just the top three new oem mounts on.

The turbo setup hanging off the front of the engine (mani, turbo, piping/couplers, intercooler, ect...) eats up alot of that vibration. All motor deff vibrates alot more. Downright dumb for a base hp daily driver if you ask me. Go oem unless you are making some bigger hp.

With aftermarket mounts the 2 lower ones are not required. Without aftermarker mounts or at least bushings i would run them.

If you still want them just get oem ones.

Im runnin innovative billet with 60a street bushings no torque mounts with no problems. Torque mounts in my opinion are useless and they look like crap if your trying to make it look nice and clean under the hood bro. Oh ya my rides a 2000 SIR EK coupe with a GSR also

I bought these mounts too. For the money, they are one of your best options, put them in, they are great for a street car, and you shouldn't have to worry about them again

The rear T bracket and drivers side engine block mount bracket will be needed from a 99-00 civic Si if you don't have them already

Well if you have innovative or hasport they are pointless mounts as hasport or innovative give you all the strength you need and its plenty stiff. if you have lameass stock soft **** mounts then ya you need the torque mounts. do whatever the hell makes you feel better. I guess trying to help you is pointless since you dont want to listen to peoples expieriences and you wanna to be cocky

Where was I being cocky??
The way you type makes it seem the only one that needs help is you.

I'm running innovative mounts on my 98 hatch with a gsr swap. No torque mounts and still no problems. I think you'll be more than fine without them especially if you're ordering aftermarket mounts.

yeah, i think im gonna get some innovative mounts, and just run the drivers side, pass. side, and rear mounts. the stock ones seem so janky. id like less flex. i dont mind the vibration. thanks for the input guys.

but im still interested in everyones thoughts on the necessity of torque mounts.

My friend has the innovative and loves them, quite a few other of my friends have the hasports and inovatives as well. I will have them in about a week.
the mounts arent required with aftermarket mounts, but they arent pointless.

torque mounts are there to
A. keep the engine from torquing back instead of placing all the pressure on the rear mount
B. keep the engine from entering the engine compartment in the event of an accident
C. keep the engine from falling out of the engine compartment in case of upper mount failure
