Primewell PZ900 Tires, Anyone Using Them or Can Give Me Advice..
I am curious is anyone is running or has run the tire Primewell PZ900 and if so could i get any kind of input about them, i was offered a set of 4 for 200 dollars, i checked tirerack and discount tire direct and they didnt sell them.. i am going to keep searching for them online .. but is 200$ a good price for a BRAND NEW set of 4? .. and also there going to go on my turbo crx it hasnt been dyno'd yet buy my tuner estimated anywhere from 400-475whp .. i need a really good street tire are these good at all or stick good at all? or are they just a regular performance tire? ... i had my heart set on the dunlop star specs.. so between the star specs and the primewells... obviously the start specs are better, but how much better are they? i would like to be able to hook in 2nd gear, at least the begining of third...
should i get these tires for 200 bucks, or should i save up an get the star spec.. idk if its a good deal or not because i cant find a site that sells them, if you know a site that sells the primewell's please let me know, so i can see if i even am getting a good deal.

The Primewell PZ900 is a cheap, bargain-basement entry-level tire imported from China. I haven't used them, but all of my experience with various cheap, off-brand tires is negative. Try them if you want but IMO you'll be wasting your money, and you'll find that it won't give you the grip you need.
The Star Spec is excellent, one of the stickiest street tires you can get. But it's not the only sticky tire you can get. For a CRX, you can get:
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 185/60-14, 195/50-15
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 195/50-15
Toyo Proxes R1R 195/50-15
Falken Azenis RT-615K 205/40-16
These may or may not give you enough traction to handle all that horsepower in your lightweight CRX. If not, you'll need to get drag radials, such as the BFGoodrich in 205/50-15. Drag radials are really expensive and they're not going to last very long (3-5K miles, vs about 15K for the Star Spec and other sticky tires listed above).
If you're worried about how long the tires last, you can get a less expensive, longer-lasting tire, like the Yokohama S.drive ($70/tire in 195/50-15 with free shipping from Discount Tire Direct); it will last 20-40K miles, but there is absolutely no way it will be able to handle hard acceleration with 450+ hp in a CRX. So I wouldn't recommend it for your car.

thank you very much for your input, a friend of mine has a set of 4 of them, that he never got around to putting on his car, idk how he got them or where, but he needs money an knows i needed tires an offered them to me for 200.. normally he buys good ****, he has a bad as well built turbo eg so i was assuming these tires were halfway decent, and if they were i was thinkin well maybe im getting a good deal here by saving 200 dollars over the star specs.. but unless someone can tell me there is a better tire out there then the star specs for a similar price give or take then my heart is set on the star spec.. if you read this and know of a better street tire that will meet my needs traction wise on the street then please post them.. otherwise star spec's it is.. when i get 440 dollars that is lol.. i dont understand why the 195/50/15 cost 110 a tire and the 195/55/15 i believe are 90 or 100 a tire, i just know there a few bucks cheaper, idk why they did that i would assume the tire that takes more material to make which would be the 55 series cost more, unless they made the 50 series more expensive because more ppl want those, idk.. but any input in appreciated.. an xstacy, thank you for your input, i noticed when it comes to tires your the man, an i was hopin you would read my post and respond to it, .. thank you very much
Extreme performance tires are expensive, but you "gotta pay to play", LOL!

I just put a set of 4 of these tires in 195 55 15 on the used 2000 SI that I bought a month ago. The previous owner had 60 series tires on it and they had rubbed holes in both front fender liners. The Primewells are quiet and ride OK. Actually they ride better than OK. It's hard for me to judge the handling since I've never driven my car with anything except the hard-as-rocks BF Goodrich that were on it when I bought it but the Primewells are better than those.
If you ever get some really good tires for your car, you'll be amazed at the difference between them and the ones you're using now.
