NorthEast Honda-Tech meet is needed before winter, give ideas please
I would not mind heading up a meet just would like some ideas on what we could do.
I was thinking to have a meet like the Ca peeps and go for pizza and a drive.
Is there anyone in the Northeast (NYC) area would like to give an idea on what we all could do together?
Toss up some ideas/ places and when you would be availible to participate

Things mentioned above were done for just too many times.
I wouldn't mind some car-related meeting such as dyno day; Tune-up day; Track day; AutoX-day; So far, as a club, we only had 1 autox meet.
Edit: Whoever (Mike, the suspect) added the Karting gets my vote!!!!!

It would be cool to have everyone take a sunday morning drive up and we meet up at F1 Boston do some Karting and go for a cruise.

that must have been Mike who added a choice and opened the poll with his Ma. advertisement...
but not a bad Idea

Wheel to Wheel racing =
And since Mike is often too lazy to drive down south. The only way to see his slammed CWs is to have us go up north.

I would drive up to boston for a meet if we karted, I did it down in PA with some HT'ers and we had a blast. I liked it so much i'm signed up for the 6hr enduro karting event at Lime Rock on Oct. 26th.
BTW, looking for one more person on Lime Rock team, IM me if interested

check this place out http://www.karttrak.com/
I'm currently trying to figure out if I should buy a kart and join a league, and one of my photography clients suggested, http://www.endurancekarting.com to me. I'm going with two of my friends, and need one more person to fill the 4th spot, it cost $395pp, which includes suit, helmet, kart damage etc. They're centrifugal clutch karts, and the course isn't Lime Rock large(I wish), it's the Skip Barber autocross track. 20 team field, rain or shine.
I'm a member at kart-track, good parking, good prices, I wish they had a better track though, single right-hand turn on the configuration they have now. The track layouts on F1 boston look very good, track one even has multi-levels. I think the track capacity at Kart-Track is 8 at a time, and they give each driver printouts of all their laps. I'm not certain about F1, but from there layouts it looks like they fit more karts on the track.
F1 Boston, Kart-Track, and the Lime Rock event all use the same karts I believe, the major differences being the tire compounds.
I can give myself a day off whenever this thing might be planned

I call for a DYNO DAY!
I'm from upstate NY and would love to come.... unless it was an R-only meet
... but the title says northeast honda-tech, so I guess i'm in!

we just had a dyno day on sept. 7th. A lot of fun and got to meet some cool people. There's interest for a 2nd one and it is probably going to happen. Keith (breaka_1_9) is organizing it. It's $30 for 3 pulls, no tuning. Or $50/hr if you're tuning. It was in Fall River, MA which is about 45 min south of boston and almost on the RI border. It's actually not a bad central spot for CT, MA, RI, NY (the metro area, probably far for upstate). The guy that owns the place is pretty cool. We were there till 6 last time, we had gotten there at 9. This is the link for the dyno day that's being set up --> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=275773 This is the link from the previous dyno day (sept. 7th) if you want to check it out --> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=270080 I'd like to meet some more h-t people. I think I'm gonna be going to the CT Honda-tech meet, here's that link --> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=270080 Hope to meet some of you at one of these events.

I am already heading up to Boston on Oct 11-12-13.
Whatever you guys plan that will be cool.
I still haven't updated the R-speed email list to my new email client. I'll try and do it this week so I can start sending out emails. OR someone send me an email (cycldav@optonline.net) with the full list in the body
