a friend of mine just ordered a FMAX turbo kit for his 2000 lude for $3800 CASH! was this a good deal? he said its still on back order for 5 weeks.

 

good for on spot..but not for 5 weeks backorder....i like to pay on spot or order when in stock. everything on backorder sounds fishy to me nowdays thats it. (bad ordering experiences suck)

 

ok, so if this is a good price for the kit... then i wont have to tell my friend he got ripped off. hehe

$3800 for a FMAX kit sounds way too much.

It's regular retail price.

All the F-Max kits are built on order, so you wait 5 weeks no matter what.

 

I paid $3000 for mine in a groupbuy but it took almost 4 months to get it. I really thought for a while I wasn't going to get but one day the ups guy came with a 120lb box of boost parts! Scott at F-max is a idiot or dosen't care. They sent me the dp for a 5th gen and they wouldn't send me a 4th gen one until I sent the wrong one back. This caused my running car to sit on jacks for two weeks. I REALLY wanted to reach through the phone and kick his ***.

 

dude... i knew $3800 wasnt the best price around. motorsport dynamics claim good prices but they really dont have em.

 

you could have had a custom setup for cheqaper, just my 2 cent,s i have the fmax now, but im bout to change the exhaust trim
