I need help , I jus got a 93 Eg si .. it has a Stock 98 ls non vtec ..
The dude that had it before he didn't kno he was running the GSR tranny with no oil and he complete ****d up 4th and 5th. He had found out that he can put an Ls 4th and 5th gear in the GSR tranny so he put it in .. but the casing won't close over the tranny , its like everything is in but something must not be put rite cus it won't close .. I was wondering if any one knew what can it be , let me kno your opinons pleaseeee

 

ls trannies are not very expensive.... just get a ls tranny or splurge and get a gsr tranny

 

you gotta line up 1 or 2 things on the Mainshaft i think??? its like a circle thing with a leg on each one.

Then pick it up, put 2 bricks on the sides for it to sit on, and give it a few taps.

 

can you point out what i wuld need to line up in this pictures?

 

and i was thinking of gettn a new ls tranny and thats probly whati am going to do but i want to find out how to fix this tranny so i can keep it as a back up or sell it and make some money back
