I think I have everthing right....but its not workin properly.

I have 85 on the relay connected to the positive line on my horn. I disconnected the stock horn and used the line there (blue wire) near the radiator, Is this how I'm supposed to do it?

when i hit the horn button...nothing.....but if i plug in the stock horn back....the air horn turns on....constant (not pressing the horn button)

what am i doing wrong?

 

do I need to ground the line from the stock horn?

 

85 goes to a solid ground.
30 goes to the battery
86 is where you plug in the factory horn wire
87 runs to the compressor.

That diagram is for a VW which uses a negative output horn (The horn button is ground) but on hondas, they are opposite.

 

disconnect 86 from 30, leave 30 hooked on the battery and ground 86. I relay needs both power and ground to activate. In the diagram you have you have a power going into the relay (85) and also power going into (86).

hey man where did u get the air horn from? and how much was it? mite lookin into getting one.. i'm tired of the "bitch" horn that came with my car...
