E-brake light comes on under acceleration...
This past weekend I took off my Spoon calipers and replaced them with stock ones. Never touched the rear calipers (didn't even take the rear wheels off)...and now under acceleration the e-brake light on the gauge cluster lights up. Could this be from the car being jacked up and the e-brake on to keep the car in place?? Possibly a few air bubbles in the line?? I didn't bleed the rear calipers after the install since i didn't touch them... Any thoughts?
When I first got my caR with 27k miles, the light was doing this. I replaced the cap, and the light hasn't been back on since. If you can park your car and the light stays on, pop the hood, take the cap off, and put it back on. If the light goes away temporarily, it's probably the cap.
Mine would come on after hot lapping at the drag strip. It turned out that the tension for my e-brake cable was the culprit. Have you checked the tension on your e-brake cable?

I don;t see how it could be the e-brake cables since the only hing i did was put the e-brake on while the car was jacked up. I have never had the problem before...
