i have a 96 hatch with the stock d16y7 motor in it.im bought the car with no engine harness. when i finally bought one i didnt notice that i bought a canadian d16y7 harness. what the hell do i do with the 3 wire alternator. im planning on just running the extra fourth wire (white/green) straight to my stock usdm ecu. will that work?and im worried about the ELD wire. what do i do about that? i just want to run the car stock so i can smog it. and is there any more things i have to worry about? please help. my tags are almost due and i need to smog it.

 

My recommendation is that you buy the correct harness and return or sell the current one.
