Default Power Steering woes.... I wanna keep it damit!

Hello people, I'm dropping a B18B1 into my 94 Si hatch which has power steering. Will the integra pump work with the Civic rack? I've got the 'teg P/S pump and hose if it does. I know a lot of people would be like, "dude, lose the power steering" but I used to drive a gutted CRX HF so I'm liking the little amount of "luxury" the Si provides.

Thanks, Matt

It will work just fine. The ps line is a little bit of a stretch but it will fit.

I know I have a 96 civic and put a 97 integra ls engine in and the end of the copper line for the power steering that goes into the pump from my civic was different than the input on the integra pump different shape and everything. I used my civic power steering pump using a few washers as spacers worked good.

On my 92 SI I just used the civic PS line to the Teg pump. the engine is a 98. its a little tight past the valve cover but nothing to worry about. I do not know about a Teg PS line fitting the civic BUT I now have a 99 Teg steering rack in my car and that fit perfectly so i suspect it will swap just fine.

Hope that helps.

I have a b18c1 in a 96 ex and it all hooked up fine. it is a bit tight to use the ex lines but you can formulate a bit of a hose extension and widener and clamp the bitch down.

All you'll need is the 'teg p/s pump, belt and the brackets to bolt it to the block. Both stock civic lines will fit, just the one line from the rack that bolts onto the top of the pump will be a bit of a streatch, but it's no big deal.
