Default 3rd gen clutch

So, we're swapping out a bad b20 from one prelude and putting in a good one form another, but both clutches are shot. I'm wondering what other clutch will work. I have a couple D series clutched laying around that are good, but I'm not sure if they're compatible with the older ludes. That, or are they compatible with any new B's like an Ls engine...? Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any other clutches that fit. But since no one else responded, I figured that I'd point out that http://www.clutchcityonline.com sells new OEM style Exedy clutches for pretty cheap... HTH

if you could find one from a newer b-series motor it would have to have the same hp and tq or more than the 135hp and 127ft/lbs tq of the prelude 2.0. if you get one that is from a motor with less hp or tq, you will probably destroy that clutch. my suggestion would be to get the correct clutch from honda or a parts store. once you get the new motor in there with the new tranny and clutch, when you blow it apart you will be looking at a lot of time to get that tranny back out by itself. not fun.
