I'm doing one right now, I have the D15B7 Block and mating the D16Z6 head to it. I have already replaced the Pistons and Rod Bearings and Honed the cylinders. Here is my parts list:

Full Z6 Head Gasket Set with Head Bolts
Adjustable Cam Sprocket (skunk2)
Z6 Timing Belt
Z6 Distributor
P28 ECU

Other than your fluids and Oil filter this is pretty much all you need. You will also need some 18 AWG wiring to wire the vtec solenoid/oil pressure switch to your ecu. This is my first mod ever and I am finding it pretty easy. You can use your stock Intake and Exhaust Manifolds. You may have to run a little bit of tubing for fuel and vacuum lines but that's it...good luck
