95 civic ex wiring harness problems
I need to get my wiring harness out of the fire wall of my civic to put in the new wiring harness for the motor i had rebuilt for it but it just wont come out through the cowl panel iam kind of thinking i have to take out my dash but i hope to god i dont and i want everything to be working right when i put the other wiring harness in. All the answeres i get from other gear heads like myself is to cut it or yank it out but i know that would be absolutely stuipid any help would be appreciated thanks.
You will have to take the dash out if you plan on swapping the entire harness.
That harness goes from the horn on the front passengers side, through the firewall, and then branches off to the passengers door, the ECU, and accross the dash to the fuse box/steering column/engine harness at the driver's side firewall.
I just did this job and I had the dash/interior ripped all the way out to the firewall. I even had to take out the heater box and the AC evap.
It took me about 15 hours to rip it down and put it all back together.
Not for the meek.
Good luck.
