Hi i was reserching this forum and found that the h22head with the f23 block works. well i have a half way built h22 head and my rings are going out on my f23 block so. i was wondering if i could get some help with list of parts that would benifit a turbo build.
parts i have now
-complete f23 long block
-h22 head with camshafts, rocker arms, cam followers springs and cam gears
-tial waste gate
-57" trim t3/t4 turbonetic turbo
-skunk 2 intake manifold
-obx ramhorn manifold
i want to replace my pistons rods and maybe get the head job done. any help would help thanks

im stuck and dont know what size pistons and what compression should i get. my plans are still to turbo it and run e85. any recomendations and i did read all about pirates and sams thread and still a little confuse since they did there project in a budget when im trying to get the most potential out of mine. i figured that since im taking it all apart i might as get all my internals done too. thanks
How much work are you willing to have done to your block?
87mm bore would be the largest diameter that I would boost on the stock sleeves. If you want to have your block sleeved. I'm pretty sure you can go up to 90mm boosted on most aftermarket iron sleeves. (maybe 91mm???)
As for your compression that really depends on your tuners ability to tune and the fuel you are going to be using most of the time. Whether your going to run E85 all the time or 91-93 unleaded will make a difference in the compression you can tune and run reliably.
Have you talked to a tuner in your area or are you tuning the car yourself?

there a shop and they will be tuning my car for me and its not cheap lol. Well i wasnt sure if i could sleeve my block since its already iron. but what i want is a daily driver car but sees some track time like once a month. i would like to boost this up to 15psi maybe more really unsure but like i said i figured since im already started on this and since everything is apart i might as well as go all out. As for the tuner he does a awsome job. they have a local shop like 20 mins from where i live and this is some of the cars they do. http://www.fullblownmotorsports.net/gallery/main.php. he made my buddies teg run e85 and boosting 25psi. so that was what i was hoping for.
i found this site they can sleeve your block for you are they worth it?
