Have a 98 EK 5 spd. and my car jumps like someone first driving standard...gas pedal is a little sticky, but I don't think that's much of a problem. Need help diagnosing what's wrong?

I'm thinking...

1. Fuel pump
2. Throttle
3. Clutch?

Help would be very well appreciated!



EK Hatch.

 

Make sure the throttle cable is adjusted to have about 1/2" of free play. If the throttle pedal is still notchy, replace the cable.
