Eibach Sport System vs. Tokico HPK Shock/Spring Kit
eibach sportline plus eibach damper = win.
i'm more of a pro-kit guy, but i feel confident in recommending the sportline with their damper.
i have nothing bad to say about koni or bilstein either.

Does Eibach make a complete kit (shock/strut) for a '97 Accord.
I have a guy wanting to sell me the complete Tokico shock/strut/spring set for $375.00 but if Eibach is that much better, I would rather go there.
BTW, how hard is a self install, if you have never done it?

^Check at eibach.co or call them. i would be suprised if they didnt sell it.
It's quite easy to install, if this is your first time just take your time and youll be fine.

The two setups are very different, but also good. The Eibach Sport kit drops the car lower and is quite a bit stiffer than the Tokico kit. If you want a car that has a good stance and handles pretty good yet is fairly comfortable, the Eibach kit would be nice.
The Tokico kit essentially uses OE replacement shocks with mild lowering springs. I've never found spring rate info for the Tokicos but I know from personal experience that they are not very stiff. The springs don't lower the car a whole lot, but it makes a difference.
From personal experience using the Tokico setup, it's nice but not the best. Like I said, they use OE replacement shocks. The springs are kind of soft, really not all that much stiffer than stock. Stance is decent unless you want to really remove any wheel gap... I'd go with Eibach if I had to do it again.

No brainer...Eibach. (I'm bias, i have the pro kit set)
another option:
you may want to think about the Koni s.trt/Tein S. Tech combo as well. Probably gonna be about $50-75 more though.
Koni has a lifetime warranty for their shocks don't they?...Eibach is running the million mile spring and 2 year shock warranty. I'd rather have good warranty on the strut/shocks though.
Just my $168116 dollars. (wait whut?)

I was essentially saying Eibach is the way to go...but another great option for the general same price would be the koni s.trt/tein s.tech setup (strut/spring combination)
Although I personally have the Eibach set I can't ever help but wonder if I would have been happier w/the koni/tein setup...and the struts have a lifetime warranty as compared to the eibach 2 year strut warranty.
Sorry for the confusion!
