driving my car, the cel light came on and i went to pull the code and it came up solid. and my car started bogging and not letting me apply gas. i drove home in limp mode. i reset my ecu by unplugging it, and plugged it back in and the code dissapeared. anyone have any ideas to why it would pop up. i have a spare main relay and spare ecu in my car right now
thanks!

thanks!
my only guess is that the main power source for the ecu was rapidly intermittent, or somehow became way too high a voltage or amperage. If your particular ecu itself was manufactured poorly, it could have gotten hot and temporarily desoldered something on the board from an overload, which rehardened after the voltage problem went away.
Those are a few ideas off the top of my head, although I have never seen any of them occur on a Honda ECU. DSM ECUs can have that problem, as do Chrysler Lebarons from late 80s to early 90's.
you should take the ecu out and take the top and bottom panels off, and take some good pictures, and i, or someone around here might be able to spot the problem.
