Default nippon engine rebuild kit - nippon racing - on ebay - opinion/experience?

here is the link to the kit on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NIPPO...Q5fAccessories

nippon racing itr pistons, rings, king bearings, engine seals...

yes, i know it is ebay. yes, i would rather use oem parts in an engine build.

but - i was wondering what any thoughts or experince with these products might be. nippon racing - heard of them, if this is the same brand/kit...

seems like a good deal for a budget rebuild if needed...

let me know.

i wouldnt use nippon, havent heard any good things about them at all, try rs machine pistons,maybe they sell whole rebuild kits, the pistons are cheap and very good pistons, alot of people use them in there NA motor builds on honda tech, im using them in mine with no problems at all.

yeah, i actually planned on RS or Inline-4 pistons. i'm gonna use good stuff.

i was just wondering thoughts on this for the future build of an extreme budget engine build. like i said, price is appealing. just wondering about the quality...

A lot of people on here have used Nippon pistons in B-series with great results.
I have a set right now of OS sized Nippon pistons and will post up the build asap.

I have used nippon pistons in four ls-vtec engines. They worked great.
I tried: b16 pistons, ITR, CTR and some low-compression pistons from nippon as well.

The low compression ones were messed up. (I.e. one piston had the gap for the piston rings messed up). Other than that... the rest of them were worth the $150 bucks.

tried NIPPON Racing piston on several builds, never had any problems with it.
But they where all NA builds (no nitrous).
