When i was trying to start my car this morning. The car don't want to start and the oil and battery both pop up. It did start the second time around... but the tach meter was jumping up and down within 1000 rpm range for around 8 seconds. After driving in the highway for a little bit the car runs fine. Then i left it idle for < 5 min, my car shuts off and the battery and oil light both pop up. Any clue why this is happening. I got a 94 integra ls. thanks!

 

battery and oil light come on because the engine isnt running. you need to be a little more specific.

 

Yes the car was in idle then it die and the battery + oil pop up.

 

Ok pull the code off the ECU. Said something about ignition timing. It's way off. Set it back to 14-16 deg as recommend by factory. I think the reason why the timing went way off was when i replace the distributor cap, rotor and plug wire few months ago, I misplace the firing order and everything got screw up. This thing come back and haunt me. My car stall twice while it was @ the light and idling. Anyone have any clue what the heck is going on ? thanks for your help!

 

your ignitor couls be goin bad or you coil my was stalling like that before too
