I recently bought a 1998 honda civic LX. Its an automatic ( i kno but i got a good deal). I want to swap my engine for a B series engine but i was told by some that a b series wont go for an automatic. So my question to ya'll is, could i get a b series engine? Which one should i get? where could i get it?...Help me out...Thanks!

 

Any B-series swap will fit in your car.

You can either get a JDM B18c1 with an auto tranny, yes they exist, if you want to keep you car an auto or get a regular swap and convert your car to use a manual tranny.
