Default help!! temperature problems and coolant leaked into chamber # 1

wel, for maybe a year now my motors been having temperature problems, if the fan is off while im driving on hot days "80-90degree days" then the temperature rises up to the HOT area, but as soon I turn on the fan the temperature drops down to the normal area, but on hot days like 100-105degrees, temperature will rise up to the hot area even if the fan is on,
Things i have done so far:
change the thermal stat
replace the sensor by the side of the head"the one that reads the temp."

The temperature still goes up but not to the HOT anymore but goes up Halfway, which i think its still not normal. should i replace the water pump and radiator? How do u know when the water pump and radiator is bad?

Anyways as of last night i drove the car on the highway at a normal 65mph speed and all of a sudden i felt my car lost power, so pulled over thinking that maybe i bent a valve, sparkplug wire pop out, injector clip pop out, i checked all that and everything is inplace, so i slowly drove the car home and when i got home i found out that there was coolant in the #1 cylinder.

Wel, this morning i took the head off and inspec the block and head for cracks, i didnt find any.
Should i just buy a new head gasket and replace it?

ya, usually a HG problem when its on cyl 4/1 they are around the water jacket.

Just replace, but i'd also resurface the head as well to ensure even seal, the block doesn't need to be deck, they rarely do..

radiator's dont go bad really..unless they have a leak..

Change your head gasket and make sure the head is flat before reinstalling it. Make sure you properly torque all the head bolts back down in their proper sequence. Your fan should be thermostatically controlled so it turns itself on when the motor gets hot, you shouldn't be doing it.

wel it doesnt turn on by itself, thats why i have to manualy do it. but what can cause the fan not to come on when its suppose to come on? the sensor by the thermal stat housing??

since you can still turn the fan on manually, it would point to the thermo switch.

you car could have already had a slight leak on the head gasket which could have made it get hotter than normal.. then over time it blew..

resurface head only enough to ensure its flat and replace with new gasket..

were you running oem gasket?

If the fan thermo switch doesn't fix it, it could be the relay between the switch and the fan. How do you have it wired currently?

the plug that plugs up to the thermal switch, i just jump one wire from the left to right and as soon as u turn the key on the fan comes on.
