Mpfi Ef won't rev up all the way not in limp mode
88 four door Ef stock b2, z6 Mani, injectors, fr, fpr, tb, pr4 ecu. okay so my car idles perfect, no cels, had iacv code but that's fixed. so basically when my cars cold if I floor it it hits like 35 maybe 4 and sputters like I just hit a brick wall, then kicks back in and goes to about 55 and if I keep it floored it starts slowly reving downward so I let off, but if I just shift before it does this weird rev down thing and bang second it chirps and wheel hops a little, but when I shift third it sounds like i'm smashing over a bunch of bumps in the road like buhuhuhuhhhh if that helps. any way it's obd1 injectors all firing but I'm using obd0 clips and I just cut the little tabs in the injectors so they would fit right, no resistor box thanks for any ideas you can help me with

Wow, you were taugh to read **** like that?
Have some respect for those who might be able to help you out as much as you would when you write to your senator. Likely your senator is a ******** whereas we at honda-tech are superior. Edit your post a little bit because there is no way that anyone likes to hash out that ****, not even yourself I bet.

Personally, I tend not to help those who can't type properly. But I do have questions for your setup (might help eliminate a thing or two)...
Aside from the difference in injectors, did you follow the MPFI conversion correctly? Specifically reversing the two wires at the TPS? And why are you using a PR4 ECU?

Mine does exactly what you're discrbing but only in first when taking off, never found out what was wrong though happened after my MPFI swap which could be what he's saying about the TPS.
There's a sweet spot that i found that causes it not to do it so it doesn't bug me anymore but i would like to find a solution to it.

I can tell you from experience the tps will NOT throw a code if the wires are swiched, as long as the tps is centrally located it might not throw a code. Get a multi-meter stick the ground on a ground and sick the positive on the center wire. It should read .5 volts on idle and 4.5 wot. Adjust as close as you can to those values. And stop being a tool.
I have about the same problem as you do, except it happens mostly when giving it only a little gas. the "buhh buhh buhh" is exactly how to describe it. I've never tried calibrating the TPS (and I'm not really sure, but I'll google it) but I've tried everything else. If calibrating the TPS doesn't work, you could try cleaning the FITV. And I would be a little more greatful for everyone's advice. I know I am.
