I think I remember seeing something about this a while back, but do you have to use the top plates to install the V2 joints? My A arms are those Vision red ones off ebay (92-95 EG) and they have a solid... here's a pic... lol

Since nobody had a good answer, I'll answer myself. The Pro series ball joints will work, you just have to remove the top plate and buy regular nuts to hold the bolts in place since the ball joint itself doesn't have any threads in it.
