Does the D16y7 (96-00 non-vtec) head have bigger intake and exhaust ports than the D16a6 (88-91 Si) head?

i would suppose so since it got VTEC and needs to breathe better.

 

the intake whole its the same... but the shape of the intake where valve goes down and separates to ea valve its a bit diff...

 

actually is does have larger intake ports and a smaller combustion chamber....second it does not have vtec and flows better than a d16a6 head...its teh same as a d16z6 head with no vtec basically

 

Is it the same as the D16Y8 head except with no Vtec? If so, the intake/exhaust ports are bigger than the D16A6 head.

 

i just told u same as the Z6 not the Y8 the Y8 has a smaller combustoin chamber than the z6 and a slightly larger intake port size

well considering my granpop owns a junkyard uhhh a whole lot....im not sure but i may have found one close to me but wut do u need???i have a d16z6 intake manifold with fuel rail....i dont wanna deal with shipping a bunch of crap but let me know maybe we can work somehting out...wut do u need?

 

Would you happen to have a set of D16A6 Pistons or a 96+ GSR distributor? I don't really know what you have, list some things.

 

uhh i may have a6 pistons at phatwhippincrxs house but one has hit a valve and not sure on condition....i have all sorts of **** BOV from a mercedes or volvo....**** uhhh civic parts 93 teg parts uhhh

D16A6 pistons
99-00 Civic OEM Headlights
CRX headlights
96-00 Civic A/C compressor or 97-00 CRV A/C compressor

well the headlights i have and have a box to ship in so they wouldnt get messed up but not sure how much id run shipping but would u want to do that headlights ??? for the head....i have to much to list really alot of cars here

 

Headlights for 99-00 Civic or CRX? And in what condition?

 

crx headlights 88-89 brakets on em....99 ones are hard to find....we just fixed my friends a few weeks ago after not being able to find em cheap enough
