hello master honda ppl.
my issue may be odd not shure.

im in the 3rd 1/4 of a swap, f22b1 into a odb1 90 prelude 4ws.
im left with very few problems and neeeed help.

1st off ,. its running terribl,, like a harley, kind of like a missfire. and smells
the funny thing is it runns nice when the ECT senser is diconnected.but throw a code an a CEL light.
alist of things ive tride to make it run better.
oil +filter change 1st for the swap oil was black,
new ECT senser
new OIL pressure senser
checked by sight all vacuum lines
die grinded all grounds triangulaited 13 more points.
switched TPS wires around cuz my reading was backwords. shooting blined now.
tride then fuxn with the lil screw to the left of the intake port
on the throttle body. i thought it might be an idle ajustment ,,
i normaly would never do that but the guy whom was helping me was and i figured maby it needed recalibraition. since i now "supposedly" have it hooked up right. so now its position is allmost flush with the housing.

You said you switched the TPS wires because your voltage was backwards, are you sure it wasn't that you had the MAP and TPS connectors swapped? They are the same configuration. It's a common swap mix up, that's the only reason I mentioned it.

Check to make sure that your coolant is bled of any air bubbles. An air bubble in the coolant system can cause erratic idle issues some times.

Have you done a compression test on the engine?

What ECU are you using with this swap?

 

Check to make sure that your coolant is bled.... i did threw the 1 bleeder on the rear thermo housing. sorry forgot to mention that.
MAP and TPS connectors swapped. RYWIRE labled it but ill check .
and my map is in a vacuum control box. the 1 on the engine is plated
doing a pin to senser continuity test today.
have not done a comprssion test wll try tues.
and im using poa ecu from 94 accordex .
