I am trying to install a new regulator and motor for driver's side electric window. The regulator came with a spiral spring (that fell out of the old regulator). There are more than one way to install, and more than one possible tension. Please give me details about what is the correct way to install this spring. The Del Sol is not supported at all in my country, so I don't want to damage anything, as it takes forever to get parts and it's hellishly expensive...
I've searched google and honda-tech, and found a few articles on installing the regulator, but no-one explains what I'm supposed to do with the spring.
Also, when the roof is removed, it opens all the windows first. So there's some sensor to tell the car that the window is open. How does this work, what do I need to do to ensure that I can take the roof off after I've installed the new regulator and motor?
Thanks!!
