"Front hoods (engine covers), engine covers, trunk lids and hatches
not containing glass, front fenders, rear fenders not part of chassis
structure (unibody), front & rear facias, and side skirts may be modifi
ed or replaced..."

Sounds like the hatch can't be replaced because it contains glass (the rear window).

So I just have to take out the window? I'll just put duck tape!

: P

too bad then...

So from what I understand, I can put a CF plug to replace the sunroof but not the hatch, cause if I read a bit more :

" T-Tops, targa tops, sunroofs, moonroofs, and similar roof-mounted
panels may be removed/replaced with alternate panels provided that
the area of interface is limited to the original perimeter of the t-top,
sunroof, etc. or utilizes the OE panel mount points, and that the contour
of any replacement panel surface does not vary from the contour
of the part being replaced by more than 1 inch in any direction. The
material used to construct the alternate panel and the method used
to attach it to the interface is unrestricted. Any actuation mechanism
and the associated wiring, if any, may be removed"

... Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes...

Anyways thanks!

on an EG with a clamshell, it doesn't contain the glass. that would make it legal for a EG by your reading. Not for an intregra as you are asking about, i assume. I know that two years ago it was NOT legal, but nobody around here cared at all.

I don't think the hatch is considered a "roof-mounted panel". It is not a panel, for one thing.

If you're just looking to go out and experience an auto-x, just e-mail the event's steward and see if he will let you run with it. Most people are more then willing to give a "one race exception" to people if it's the difference between them showing up to their event or not.
