Do you EF owners find that with the AC on, your car drives slower? Is it due to the AC unit hogging power from the motor? My EF seems to lag a little with the AC on. Is this normal?>

yea it's normal. i know on some cars (dunno if any civics besides new ones utilize this) but when you floor it the a/c is automatically turned off.

 

By floor it...do you mean freeway speeds?

just fixed the ac in my 90 si...i swear it seems to rob half the hp from my d15b when its on. idle drops and car is sooper slowwwww .. i only use it on the drive to work so im not sweating ***** lol other than that its the 2/40 method for me. 2 windows 40mph
