Default Tanabe Rear sway bar question

I have one now acquired everything needed to install and went to bolt it in and if the bushing are against the brackets they would be stock and the links sit about 4-6 inches away(sorry didn't bother to measure it. has anyone done one to their car if so did you just have to bend the brackets back or what? Thanks, Randy.

They bolt right up without mods. This is a picture of a tanabe resprayed in grey. Is your bracket backwards?

Take a few pictures of what you're dealing with. You should not have to bend any brackets.

You build is thread really doesn't show anything new here dude. It is a direct bolt on though, that's true.

He has a DX which means that he had to source a few additional parts to bolt this up, such as the brackets, lca's, and endlinks. This is what makes me think that he mounted the bracket on backwards, because it would make it look like it is short by a few inches if it was.

Alright i had to slightly pull back the bracket so it fit firmly but its going to have to sit a little bit higher than it would with the stock bushings but if I put the sway bar a little bit higher on the bracket is it going to hurt anything???

A little bit is probably normal since the car is raised and the suspension drops when it's lifted.

If you have a B16 +, you'll love the addition of a tanabe front stabilizer. Handles like a bitch with it!

Well in my eyes my car is set with suspension. The only things I'm missing is the rear lower tie for the LCA's and the upper tower bar for the front, I already have the lower, I have the front and rear tanabe swaybars and OMNI coil overs all the way around. At the end of this month I'm pulling my d15b2 out and unless my buddy decided to get his SI worked on, were probably just going to drop it into his car. I'm just going to clean up my engine bay send the car out for paint while I rebuild the lower half of the block myself put some different pistons in it I building it for a b16turbo. Idk what anyone thinks or says about my ride! My car is the **** to me! It sucks cause the only body work on my car that needs to be done is the roof sometime between the early 90s and now the hood flew up dented the hell out of the roof.....oh well other than that shes real purdy for being flat blacked!

Awesome! Keep it up. With the heavier engine, I liked the feel of the tanabe 26mm front stabilizer.
