I just found out that Performance Friction has my application!!! YES!!!!
If you guys (and gals) dont know, PF is one of the leading brake MFG's in the world. I've personally used their pads on my race bikes. dirt of asphal (concrete). I've tried everything known to man, from stock to full on race. If the brakes dont feel right, you cant go fast, corner speed is king! If you cannot modulate proper corner speed..you just simply slow down.
Most of the brake materials seem to be focused on out-right stopping, letting the material combinations take all of the work, regardless of rider input. With PF's, it gives full on feedback and control, without the fear of uncontrolable lockup.
Let me go further....on a road corse, under trail braking while leaned over, I need to feel the brakes "frictionizing" without upsetting the suspention or chassis. You do not want a pad that will grab too hard where it loads up the suspenion. I like progression then full on just stopping, it just doesnt work that way. For the dirt, I like how the rear brake feels when the turn-in is at the drop, you need a brakes that can control lock up, drag, and just not full on lock up or just not give you anything...especially if it's muddy.
Ahh...I am normally good doing this with hand jestures...hope you can can understand.
koo...end of story.

yup!...
If you are just daily driving your car OP, get hps pads, the hps PLUS work FANTASTIC, HOWEVER, they only work well when heated, and daily driving will just not heat them quite enough to get full use from them. They are also very loud and squeaky. hps is great for daily and some aggressive driving.

Get it off of a DA the front knuckles the car must be lowered in order to use it. The rear trailing arms are the same to 2001 Integra and 99 Civic Si. Get cross-drilled slotted rotors dab with stainless-steel braided brake lines. There you'll have it.
Simply user friendly...I dont want noisy brakes runining my music and the ladies checking me out....not laughing at my noisy brake....lol.....
BTW...I asked my engineer buddy at my office about the brake pads on his EVO. He said Hawk...I said HPS?....he said yes. I normally get to work at the same time. We both hit the light to make that left. I was right next to him once...definately sounds like EBC HH's. No thanks, I dont like how the friction material works. Those pads are appropriate for race spec...not intermidiate spec.

For example, one of my friends tracks his Dodge Magnum SRT8 for the past few years. He has gone thou Brembo this and that, Wilwood this, Stoptech that. X-Drill, Slotted, plain...From all his experience and testing and abuse, he ended going back to stock and using different compounds. At then end of the day, he didnt like the fact that the rotors get beat and they are REALLY expensive to replace after almost each track day. In term of performance, he like the 'feel' of the close to stock set up....and the size of his wallet.
