I am looking at doing an engine swap in my 96 DX, and I figured I could get a new motor and have it last quite a while. This site is saying that long blocks AVERAGE 40,000 miles.

Is this just to cover their *** if the motor breaks down at 40,000? Or do these motors ACTUALLY only last 40,000 miles? Or am I misreading it all together?

They average 40,000 miles on the engine before it was pulled.

Haha, this is right. A motor from Hmotorsonline should last one or two hundred thousand if you take care of it.
