Default Goldline springs for accord?

Are these any good? I'm thinking about getting 'em, $100. It's supposed to be just a slight drop (1.25) they're the goldline GPS-0103's. Only thing I'm doin is springs and I don't want a bumpy ride. Anyone usin goldlines?, anyone usin 'em with stock struts? I ran across a civic forum where everyone was ravin about 'em for their civics but I haven't found anyone with them on their accord yet. There a better brand in the same price range?

true but the reason I'm thinkin maybe this is the exception to the rule is like I said these civic doods LOVE 'em. Here check it out http://www.7thgencivic.com/forum/cat...44&STARTPAGE=1 There's several posts about them, every post is positive, they say their customer service is awesome too (some guys didn't get the drop they wanted and goldline sent them free replacements right away) So I'm convinced it's a quality company\product - I just need to find someone who's installed 'em on an accord to see how they look\perform.

if you do decide to get them, do the installation yourself...it is so unbelievably easy...in fact, it is so easy that just maybe for $100 a car i might start my own business....since so many of you lazy hoes don't take the time to learn about installing stuff yourself, i'll be makin money off yo asses!

if you trust the shop and they do good reliable work then $45 for a spring install is excellent. almost worth it even if you usually do your own work. but there's nothing like the feeling of accomplishment when you do something yourself... plus you gain that experience and knowledge of the car...

no air tools needed...

spring compressors can be had any local autoparts store...

hit up sabsastian for a DIY with pictures.

I would say they are pretty good since there is a no-expense-spared Skyline GTR in Super Street this month that uses them and supposedly this Skyline will be the star of the next F&F.

Default Re: Goldline springs for accord? , Got the springs need shocks\help installing

well I ordered the springs, I even got them a little cheaper by waiting until the auction ended and contacting them by email ($110 shipped) I need shocks now, I have 55k on my stock shocks. I'm thinking of going with some kyb gr-2's I found new\shipped for $160. Anyone have a better suggestion in the same price range? Since I'm spending the last of my cash on shocks I'm gonna have to install everything myself I've never done it but I'm pretty mechaniccly inclined so I'm gonna give it a shot, I need to pick up a repair manual, prolly just gonna go with the cheapie haynes for now. If anyone (that's done it before wants to come over and help me\er let me watch them do all the work - in huntington beach I'll provide free cokes and give you some free computer stuff (I have a kick *** force feedback racing wheel\pedal\shifter set that cost me over $200 for PC or some other stuff) Truthfully I'd feel much better with someone there who knew what the f they were doing. I'm about 3 blocks from the beach so if you wanted to take a break and go check out some chicks in bikinis you could (tryin hard to convince here heh) Anyway If interested reply or email me mrpinkdonttip@hotmail.com

btw (potential nice guy who's gonna help me) I have a big *** floor jack\jack stands and a garage to do the work in. Only thing we'll need is some better tools (most of mine are crap) and a spring compressor, if you don't have one I think we can borrow one for free though or I'll spend a few bucks and rent one.

here's a review on the force rs I'm offering as payment http://www.sgn.cc/hardware/actlabs_force_rs/index.shtml
