Alright so my company's moving me out to DC for a new opportunity, and I'm hell-bent on bringing my bike with me.

I already plan on putting my stock exhaust on for the inspection, bought a travel cover and also upgraded to full-coverage insurance because I'll be parking it outside most likely (unless I rent a garage). If something happens to it (theft, vandalism, etc), I'll live.
But I need recommendations on a good shop to have my bike worked on if I need to, as well as winter storage locations - any pointers? I'll be living and working right in the city (NW)...already well aware of traffic, potholes, drivers, etc.

I'm 15-20 min southwest of DC, I've got a neighbor that makes house calls on motorcycle repairs/maintenance.
My coworker's used RnR Cycles in Sterling for track set-up and such. I'm about to take mine over there for some suspension help.
Jon (EGLovr) might be able to help you with putting around in DC.
