Alright guys,
First of all, i'd like to thank everyone that got a chance to come out with us that night. I was at the location at about 8:30pm or so. We were supposed to meet up between 9-10pm but we had a Rolling Stones concernt over in COmisky so traffic was up the azz all night. We got everyone together at about 10:30pm. I had a head count and we totalled up to about 40 heads. I think we had a good 15 cars out and about. Firs thing we did was we hit up the Field Museum for some pics. We lined up across the front and we took up the whole from fire lane. We got a few pics and we got a suggestion to head over to the lot behind Soldier field but as soon as we left, i think the organization wasn't there and we lost half of the cars. The pics were dark cause it was at night and i don't think anyone's camera was functioning for night pics but we regrouped and headed north on lakeshore drive.

We lined up for a little cruise down LSD and as soon as we passed up downtown, everyone broke loose. I personally broke the 120mph mark on Lake Shore drive. We had some silly guy in a white Galant try and run plus a little 4 door rice'd out Civic run. We eventually got the end of LSD on Sheridan Road and Hollywood Ave so we rolled through Loyola and headed into evanston for a cruise. Due to the Volume of the cars we had coming with us, it was a little tight in back so this caused a little late braking in the back which lead to Nates unfortunate accident. It was a minor, scratches on the front bumper but we still rocked his ride for some pics.

I think the highlight of the night was when we were cruisin down sheridan Road in Evanston. As soon as we rolled into Wilmette, Kenilworth and Glencoe we ran into a few Cops and i don't think they've ever seen so much traffic built up on that road so late at night and at one time. Its pretty dead but as soon as we hit the Twisted Section of Sheridan Road, i told everyone to give a good 5-10 seconds to the car in the front of them to roll through the curves since it was pretty tight and low speed. I think the first few cars were able to have some fun but towards the end everyone kinda cluttered up so i don't think the cars in the back got a good chance to fly through there.

We got to the Lake Cook- 94 Junction and filled up at the Shell on the corner of Skokie and Lake Cook. When we got there, we lost half the cars, a few of them cut out during the run but we grouped up, chit chatted, took more pics and headed back down. We had everyone going back down and since i headed out first, i had the Yellow S join me for a run back down to Chicago. Averaged about 130-140 all the way back with 4 ppl and the S was right there next to me. It was a fun Rendezvous and we got back together ( someone owes me Maxwells, hahaha).
We pulled back together at the Dominicks over on Canal and Roosevelt Road.
Me and the S got back first and everyone arrived shortly after so we got a chance to get back together and from there, everyone cut out. We were left with myself, Nate and Kevin so we took more pics and shot up some Coffee. We took some mad pics in chinatown too. Pulled onto the Sidewalk of CCUC church in chinatown and we got harrassed by the cops but they ended up being cool ( hence the pics).

i missed the food . There had to be more then 15 cars there.. well, when we first lined up after chinatown square. There were like 25+ cars there. Maybe only like 15 ITRs+S2ks+modded hondas. But there were a few accords and lexus's and my pos. I was kinda hoping for a smaller meet tho, so I could actually get to know some HT ppl a lil bit. It was so weird, and there was like 20+ppl from my school (bout 10 already graduated) there that i had no idea would even be there.

Serious man! we had a bunch of cars out that night. I think i took a head count of over 40 ppl when we all were ready to go. it sucked cause we lost a lot of ppl but we had fun. Sorry hatches, i didn't get a chance to take too many pics because i was so busy running around. I think there's a few ppl out there thats got pics of all the hatch's. Im just waitin for everyone to post all their pics. It was a good night. We had fun. I got hit on by some black chick so that was kinda cool too. She was like " i saw yall roll up in hea like yall was duh fast and furious, was yall raciin".
I wanna do this chit again. We got the bbq comin up in 2 weeks. Head count anyone?

Kenny that is yours with the regular IL front plate but who is the owner with the plate "GHETTO R"? Looks nice to me. Shouldn't be all yellow in the grille but I'm not hatin'.

Fun weekends coming for me..... I'll be in Seattle next weekend and BBQ Saturday the next.

 

Ghetto R is Steve... Ghetto R has the OEM HID kit... I think Ken got HID installed tho...
