Default h23 head / h22a4 block

My question is, will this set up work h23 head on a h22a4 block? I would assume that my current engine harness will not be compatable and i would need to convert from OBD2 to OBD1 (which i planned on doing anyway). Is this a benificial change, or a pain in the @$$. Sorry if this question sounds stupid, i tried to research it and couldnt find info which maybe because people dont do it. thanks in advance.

you're converting from VTEC to nonVTEC with worse flow.. it'll run but IMO it'd be better to just wait it out for an h22 head.
