Default My car was stolen last night.

I went up to SF to go clubbing for the first time, parked on Folsom St. near 1st. Got out from the club and my baby was gone, my friend's accord was right behind mines. Lots of other fixed up cars around too. Tried my best to keep the car low key, but i guess if someone wants to jack a car, they're gonna do it.

I'm just gonna go through all the insurance stuff now. The car wasn't fast, but I really worked hard on it and learned a lot along the way. Here's my setup if you start seeing some turbo kit for sell for hella cheap, kick some *** for me.

White 1999 Civic EX Coupe
Oem Si front lip, painted sideskirts
Power Racing 17" whites w/pirelli p7000 Supersports
Neuspeed Sport Springs
Progress Rear Anti-Sway Bar
Greddy TDO4 SOHC Turbo Kit
Greddy Type-31 Intercooler, Type-s BOV
RS*R Stainless Steel Exhaust
TurboXS MBC
Apex-i Turbo Timer, Autometer Boost, A/F, cluster bezel.

Should have worked more on my oem security system, but damn...this sucks. Be careful everyone, i hope no one ever has to experience this.

I'm sorry to hear it...and I am amazed people risk jail time to steal a Honda Civic. If I were stealing cars I would at least steal bimmers or something a little more pricey.

Trac! Sorry to hear this saddening news. It was one of the cleanest civic that day on the dyno and seeing hard work just slipt away behind your back. Wish you luck!

Not to burst your bubble and I'm sure you already know this but thousands of cars are just towed off so no security system is gonna save you from this. Sucks that there is basically nothing we can do, if somebody wants our car, they're gonna get it

If I have to leave my car in a place I don't like I'll take the ecu fuse out. I'm paranoid about my car being jacked so I have a multistep security system.
- clifford alarm, it cuts the ignition
- the club
- my garage
- my 9mm glock
I've been looking at lojack since LVMPD uses it and had high succuss in recovery. If you have ENOUGH deterants you can protect youself but if someone really wants your car they will get it. Here in Vegas people use tow trucks in broad daylight!

Come to tHailand people. Wherever you go at night, there will be guards walking the carparks, and if you pay them $1, they will sit infront of your car for the whole night

People don't really get their cars stolen here, its more "smash the window" and steal everything inside. YOu can get seriously screwed (and I really mean that) if you get convicted of stealing stuff, especially a car. Wonder if any of you have heard about the Thai Jails... its enough to deter most people from doing crime on a small-scale I've had so much stuff in my civic, and my teg - and never had a problem. I don't even have a car alarm on any of them!

sorry to hear that, dude.

last year, me and my friends went to RAWHIDE. came out and his car was gone. he had a pretty fixed up integ with a DRAG3 kit. i think most thieves target turbocharged cars. what did you have in the car for security?

This post is the exact reason why Punk forbids me to drive my car when my girlfriends and I go dancing in SF. I am so sorry.

Thanks for your words everyone, I don't know if this is a sign for me to stop working on cars or a challenge of my commitment to what I love to do.

It's for the parts. Much more of a market for civic parts than high-end. if you crash your civic you buy a new bumper/door if you crash your $50k car, you buy another. also for the aftermarket goodies.

But, that really sucks man. I am going to install a kill-switch real soon. I have an alarm to keep ******s from stealing my stereo (again) but, now I'm worried about the car...

yo man... dont let it get to you. when my car was stolen, i felt the same way. i ended up sellin my body kit and rims.. but i kept the turbo and decided to stay in the scene. gettin your car stolen is one thing... letting it affect you and keep you from doing something you like to do (fixin up your car) is definitely a no-no. dont let it get the best of you, dude...

Mine was stolen 2 weeks ago. WOrst part of all policed fuckded up and put the car as inpounded from where I reported it stolen. SO THEY FUCKED UP AND NO CAR! So everytime i call and ask if its been recovered they say" Car was impounded and its here at 2nd district" cars not even there.

Oh yeah Panda....like in that movie with Claire Danes. Can't remember the name but it was about the two girls that were used as decoys in a drug deal or something and they got tossed in the Thai pokey. f-that!
