help with 91 lx seat belts
ok so at first they worked rarely because the battery terminal going to 12v was bad. i swapped that out the terminal with another one making sure to fuse the 2 wires that control the seatbelts under the hood that went to the 12v on the battery.
PROBLEM:
my driver sside seat belt works fine. the passenger side went down and never came back up. WTF???? if i muscle the belt up to secure a passenger, as soon as the door opens it goes right back down and stays that way.

are you still using the fuses? i want to find out the solution because i want to get rid of that horrible terminal as well LOL.

i have the same problem only that its on my driverside...simple solution was to lock them back manually and disconnect the green plug on the black box located behind the stereo...!!!
I also made sure the plug underneath each seat is plugged into the seatbelt drum.
Then there is the green plug behind the center console near the firewall.
There is no fuse or relay for the seatbelts, except for the components i just named.

well i did alarms for a living for about 9-10 years of my life so this is the cheapest way thats effective to add an in line fuse, i just used what i had in my tool box
yea my voltage meter was getting 12v to the factory wIRING (DAughter) but yea everything was right i guess whats next is taking apart the factory one to see if there was a resistor inside it somewhere or a diode.
