Has anyone had a car stolen with wrx-killer-Sti-eaters alarms?
I wanted to have an alarm installed.I was woundering if anyone has had to put to use the gps in the alarm he installs. I wanna do both the itr & the gsr but was woundering if anyone has had any successful recovery storys.
On a side note please keep in mind wrx-killer-Sti-eaters rep isnt being questioned i've done my back round and know he's a straight up dude & the installs are flawless.

I'm shocked that there is a huge thread of a member that's a regular in this section that hasn't got his $700 "prepped" (lol) alarm even sent to him and people are still lining up for his stuff. Seriously if you're on the east coast I can get you somebody much better that is an absolute wizard with honda alarm installs that many guys in the ITR community can vouch for.

^^x1000 on Steez's contact. Probably the most talented Alarm installer I've ever run across. I also have to say wtf, why is wrxkiller guy even an option, considering all the shadiness going around.

Wrx killer's installs are not flawless. They are better than average, no doubt. But I've seen one and I could do better.
What shadiness? I'm lost ,.

well a friends car was saved 3 times by the same thief who got closer and closer each time due to the alarm. don't know if it's the thief or just luck.
Is it privvy information to know what's so "special" about his installs? I've installed a couple of alarms and would love to see what's being professionally done so I can put it on this car as well... or do I come off as a thieft trying to keep on top of my game?
In the end, it's a matter of cut-off switches on everything and anything.. down to the damn wiper motor.

I dont have an ITR, but my car had an attempt on it a lil over a year ago. Thieves popped the hood, cut the alarm siren, and disconnected the battery.
Thankfully, it was a decoy siren and the backup battery worked just fine keeping the real sirens going inside and outside of the car. That pretty much scared them off.
Had they made it inside the car, they would have had multiple sirens going off in their ears and then best of luck to them trying to start the car with killswitches to the ecu, fuel pump, and starter.
Alarm saved my car and paid for easily payed for itself.
**** you thieves, suck my dick.

My gripe is with the general organization and quality of the wiring and connections. The wires were not routed or secured very well and I found some connections that had been twisted and taped. In one case, a partially exposed wire was very close to the chassis frame, which could have shorted and killed the brain. In fact, I suspect that is what happened since the whole reason we had the car apart was to replace the brain that had died a couple months after it was installed.

I paid large amount of money to have a late arrival (similar excuses) and the "prep" was in some ways a joke. Wires loosely twisted together with electrical tape thrown on etc. In reality the "prep" limited my installation options as so many things were depinned etc. Removing wires makes the installation easier for a noob but these questions should be asked before hand. I was displeased to see the types of connections made and by some of the wires removed....especially since I had paid the "prep" fee.
my "prepped" alarm is in the mail right now, I really hope the connections are done right after waiting 2 months for it
Install is the key to a good alarm so I dont see how you cant build your own great custom alarm by going to crutchfield.com and then going to radioshack to buy various relays, wires, etc.

He also did the same "prep" work on the alarm even though I told him not to touch any of the wires. I thought he did the twisted wires with electrical tape on my alarm because he was pissed that I bitched about getting my alarm. I can't believe he actually does this for other people and I would never let him ever touch my car if that is the work he does.
