How could i check to see if my abs is working

i suspect my abs system is not working .......how could i know for sure......i dont have the light on my dashboard because i changed my instrument panel to one that does not have it.......

drive fast slam on breaks if the wheels lock up it doesn't work.

put your old cluster in and see if the light is on. if its new enought you should be able to get it scaned.
