Not worth it, homie. Poorly done welds, & very thin material.

A buddy of mine had one on his EK, & the wastegate was literally about to fall off in the staging lanes, due to the flange being cracked for a while. Glad he spotted it.

I bet you will put a full spool of wire into that thing from all the cracks. OBX has horrible quality and it's just rebadged garbage like the **** on ebay

imo if you are at the point of needing a topmount why would you cheap out on the manifold of all things. you can make 600+ on a ramhorn

The SPA or inlinepro is a nice manifold for the price

 

Friend had and obx and the watstegate completely broke off in less that six months, don't do it.

 

my friend just bought a obx top mount and has had a problem with it ..

 

I dont understand how OBX is still in business with the crap they sell

I have one in my car, and a couple of buddies do also, great manifold so far no complains, have had it over a year now....fits just great also...

its funny but supra guys have absolutely awesome luck with the china manifolds holding up big turbos.

 

OBX is 100% junk $HIT! you will end up spending the money for an obx then in a week or two have to spend the money for a decent mani. dont be stupid and do it right the first time.

 

how bout the guys who have problems post, and the guys who have been running one without problems post. tell your story what manifold and turbo etc, theres a good thread on supraforums like that.

 

you are so right, i know a guy that owns a shop and he always messes around with 2jz's and they all use those ssautoshit manifolds and they always take a beating with gt42's or equivalent on top

 

So what is the difference in 2jz ssauto vs B series ssauto? I have only heard of one around

here that has broken and re welded. A few people have K series ssauto manifolds and they

hold up. I think it has more to do with the little things like flex pipe and bracing up the turbo

or waste gate. But for the money you pay for one of these manifolds you could get a good

used inlinePRO or save a few more hundred and get a used quality made top mount.
