d16y7 with z6 head, zex 59300 cam with stock valve train, milled 0.040'' with I/h/e and good tune.

I run a d16y8 with that cam, milled 0.060'' with b18a 58 mm and b&m fuel press. regulator.
450$ setup, 9.5 1/8th mile time means I mess with many, many b-swapped cars.

or

d16y7 with lightly ported head, agressive cam with valvetrain and tune. VERY fun motor.

 

P29 piston setup! Cheap and fun!

 

F22A* is a good SOHC platform to start with..... there are a few making some really good N/A power.
