Default Front LCA question

Ok so I've heard rumers about the itr front lcas but havnt been about to find the awnser on the forums or anything. In my searching for better understanding.

The rumers I have heard are that under hard breaking the itr will toe out due to the rear bushing in lca. I understand how this can be achieved but have not been able to confirm this. I've also heard that the base integras do this also but once agen never been able to confirm this either.

There is a ton of wheel movement under hard braking, traction bars can stop the wheel from moving back under braking and forward under throttle.

Not sure what change occurs in geometry from that, caster would change obviously.

I understand that, but I've heard rumers and only rumers that the lca rear compliance bushing was designed to toe out. Generally when the suspention is compressed it will cause a toe in situation.

You're thinking of the 88 CRX and "passive rear steering", as folks called it.

But yes, there is a reason why Honda went to the 89+ style rear LCAs on their USDM cars and why the USDM ITR got the old 88 style of rear LCAs.

BTW--in Japan they got the 88 style rear LCAs on all the DC2/EG chassis.

That's rear, not front, unless he wrote front and meant rear

I dunno...I'm confused. I saw this and thought he was talking about the rear.

I've never heard of the front LCA having some kind of built-in passive toe functionality.

I think he meant the large rear bushing on the front LCA, but unless he clarifies I'm not sure
