Default A/C Drain & Removal, 99 SI

Anybody have any tips on how to drain the A/C system on a 99 SI for removal? I want to do this myself being as the car is at home and not able to be moved to a shop to have it done. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Wait until the car can be driven so that the refrigerant can be properly recovered by a shop.

Yes. The refrigerant should be drained at a shop. It's nasty stuff. After that, the steps are as follows:

-Remove
-Regret
-Reinstall
-Enjoy

The car can't be driven. It's totaled and sitting under my carport.
