Let me know what you think.
any weak spots noticed?

HEAD:
99 type r head full port and polished to the max at .6 lift it flowed 305 on a type r cam
1mm oversized high compression valves ferrea
85lb inline pro dual vale springs and retainers
welded up pint roof to mimic gsr a diamond bit cut decked head
crower 402-2 cams with skunk2 cam gears
Dave Hickman typhoon ported intake manifold and 83mm tb
525cc injector clinic injectors
type r valve cover moon cut
obd1 §§§§§
aem Fuel rail
aeromotive A1000-6 fpr


BLOCK:
the block use to be the 84mm block used in the Orange Crush hatch inline pro had before it spun a rod bearing. they then removed the motor sleeved it at 86 and then they went to a k series.
gsr block 86mm bore sleeved by inline pro.
86mm wiseco pistons cut skirt light weight with wiseco rings
8.25 dome 13 -1 compression
stock treated ls rods with arp rod bolts and floated wrist pins
balanced down ls crank
factory miked out honda bearings color coated
brand new itr oil pump
type r water pump and timing belt

Drivetrain
fidanza 7.5lbs flywheel
comp stage 2 clutch
and stock ls tranny. (i know plan on going to a b16 tranny soon)

other ****
walbro 255 fuel pump
p28 tuned on chrome

just talked to someone on another forum and he said the clutch wont hold. anyone got any experience with it

why wouldnt it hold it?
your setup not to doubt it is only gonna make 230-240 hp

was just asking. he said it didnt hold on his turbo ek which put out 260.

Sounds more like driver that didn't allow it to hold up. not the product.

clutches are rated for trq not power. your gonna be fine

well, that guys car probably made around 200ft/lbs of torque which might be the reason why his did not hold up. but there's always the possibility he may not have broken in his clutch properly

i know my thread is old but.. got one more question been reading about factory rod bearings. but talked to inline pro and they said OEM honda bearing are as good acl bearings. Am i risking the motor running the honda bearings

Yes mostly everyone will prefer OEM. Thing about ACL now is that they're on national backorder. But OEM will be just fine.
