Default electrical issues (lights)

Ok so i just bought a 2002 civic, its a 4dr auto, has power locks a/c and the factory cd player. I got a smokin deal on this car due to a broken axle. Anyways im having issues with my lights.

I just put new bulbs in and during the daytime my DRL light is on, and with the headlight switch turned off but in the low beam position i hear a buzzing sound coming from a relay behind the glove box. It is a grey 5 prong relay on the left. I replaced it and it made no difference.

If i have the headlights off and in the high beam position it stops the buzzing but my DRL light is still on and i only have one (drivers side) headlight.

When i turn the headlights on my low beams work fine but i only have one drivers side high beam.

I hope that makes sense, I've checked fuses and relays i'm thinking wires are shorted out somewhere anyone have any idea where to start looking?

Another issue im having is my SRS light comes on and off as it pleases, any idea why? My wind shield washer fluid light is also on but it is full and works fine, any ideas where to start there?

This is my first post here and any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

After a search of "DRL" i found and fixed my lighting issue. Apparently this only applies to Canadian civics. There is a drl module under the dash on the drivers side under this black plastic cover. There is defective solder joints that crack, I re-soldered them and its all good to go. Here is a link to show what it looks like.

Yeah, the DRL and Washer Fluid Indicator are exclusive to Canada.

Hmm. . wow .. not sure where to start with the headlight possibilities.. .. it could be the combination switch itself. I'll look into this a bit more and get back to ya..

The Windshield Washer Fluid indicator constantly being on is likely due to the switch in the reservoir being faulty. Pull it out and have a look at it. It could just be gummed up or something.
You can take it out and test it.. just remove it from the reservoir.

Check for continuity between terminals 1 and 2.
There should be continuity when the float is down.
There should be no continuity when the float is up. If it is not as specified, replace the switch.

About the SRS light....

I got the headlights fixed, it was just the faulty solder joints inside the drl module.

Ohh, okay, I thought you were referring to only fixing the "DRL" light problem. My bad!
