Rice or NIce?..CRX Headlight Covers...Well this was bought brand new from Summit back in 1999. The guy never ever used till i found it on craigslist 2 weeks ago for $5 Dollars!!!!..the crazy stuff you find on craigslist eh. I wasn't in the market for this, but I figure i could make use of it cause I have had chips and crack on my last two previous set of headlights. Why not eh..Function > Form :mrgreen:

Definitely not my cup o' tea. It reeks of 'rice' to me but that's just my $0.02.

i hear ya..well it was cause of this picture that I looked at that made me realize that something is missing up front or maybe not, shrugs.....it was a pass me down lip from a friend...hmm i guess i might have to do a lil bit better on the lip then

I definately like them. I like the blacked out/smoked lights. It's not rice when it's tastefully done. now, if you had big chromed out altezzas... that's rice.

 

I never found the EF lights overly bright anyways, and my area is riddled with deer and moose on the highway. I wouldn't leave them on, but it's your car, not mine.

 

could get some spray tint, that might not look too bad, i really do like the car but that lip and the covers scream ricer to me, but again nice car!

 

until i see a picture with the lights on, i wont know for sure... but it looks ricey to me as well.

 

Just a question. Where did you buy your amber corner lights.? And I think your rex looks better without the lip to be honest

 

thank ladies and gentlemen for all the harsh and honest opinion. Thats how we learn from our mistakes...looks like i will be hunting for a new lip soon and off with the cover..maybe only when im doing hwy drive i probably would put it on...i got it from Passwordjdm.com sir for the amber corner

 

I think the general opinion is to tone it down a little. If they made tinted/smoked light covers, instead of BLACK, they would be more accepted. Also, the carbon fiber lip is cool, just get a smaller lip, not a "cow catcher".
It would be a little less extravigant, yet still have a custom look.
