Default EG Half size radiator and FAL Fan

Guys I need some help wiring up my EG FAL fan. The fan came with a red (+power) and black (-Ground) wire. But my 88 HF crx comes with black/yellow and Blue. My question is easy...what wire goes where? I would like the fan to function like OEM and not just always on.

got a multimeter? that'd be the easiest thing to do. just test the wires with a cold engine, and test them with a hot engine, not to complicated.
I would think they would be like this
black - ground
yellow - constant or ignition
blue - water temp. probably hot only when the engine reaches operating temp.

Ya might need a relay?

Well I found this...and what it seems like is Blk/Yel is constant or ignition and Blue is ground but only when the rad fan relay coil is pulled in by the coolant temp switch. Can someone comfirm that what Im thinking is correct?

ohhh, wow, I read ur post wrong...fail.

anyways, yeah thats correct, the blue wire goes on the black wire. its is grounded through the fan relay once the car gets hot enough.
