Hey all i have a 00 ek coupe stock d16y8 and just got my ac recharged because i changed my old ac compressor, my problem is that it takes a little longer than usuall to get colder, any insight on that?

 

Did you completely evacuate the system and replace the receiver/dryer prior to recharging with refrigerant?

Did you recharge the system with the amount of refrigerant specified in the service manual?

Have you measure the high and low side pressures?

Does the condenser fan run?

I didnt get the chance to change the dryer.....
wasnt to sure how much to fill, Do u know how much?
evact the whole system.......
high side was around 151 & low was 31 psi i think

 

It looks like the system is undercharged. The system takes 22.9 oz of refrigerant.
