The Ultimate ROAD RACING Vacation - What should one DO and SEE?
Like the Title says I am on Vacation for about a month from July to August and I am already in Florida. I seen a couple of small tracks in Arizona and Texas but did not stop, I am looking for any tips or advice on this once of a life time event. I was thinking about some MUSEUMS and WORLD FAMOUS tracks and even trying to take a peek at the HQ of Real Time Racing located in Wisconsin. I know its not a lot of time especially for events but if anyone knows anything it would be great I will post pics as well.
Thanks in advance,
Charles

Corkscrew is the best turn i have ever drove on.
Turn 5 at Thunderhill is the second ... but i dont like how things get stacked up there when you are following slower traffic...

the fun of different tracks is layouts..elevation changes..etc. a dragstrip is flat and 1320ft. the only thing that changes there is scenery. unless you go to somewhere like sonoma where the dragstrip is at the "track" then that would be worth it.
Brand new NASCAR hall of fame here in Charlotte, plus headquarters for tons of go-fast part manufacturers.
And you should go to Laguna Seca.
And you should go to Laguna Seca.
come up from FL and hit Road Atlanta, Roebling Road, Barber (motorsports museum there), VIR, Mid Ohio, Watkins Glen then NYC (not sure why anybody would want to go there)
