want some reviews and comments on the parts purchased for my budget build.

98 itr complete head( cams, valvetrain.intake manifold and tb) gonna be slightly milled

jdm b20b block with b20z pistons (new NPR piston rings)

arp headstuds and arp rod bolts

acl bearing kit(b20b)

new itr oil & water pumps with gates b18c timing belt

new valve seals and block seal kit

blackworks vtec conversion kit

96 itr spec headers with 2.5 inch exhaust

go autoworks oil catch can kit .

hoping for at least 170 whp with 130tq for a fun street motor. also aiming to get the compression up to at least 10:1 or 10.2:1..car is gonna be run on 93 octane. also gonna run a CTR tranny .

what advice and comments do you have ?

thanks

i'd run bigger injectors and high capacity fuel pump with that setup...make sure you get enough fuel when you're @ WOT

I thought you didn't need to upgrade fuel system if the bottom end stayed stock. can't I just up the fuel pressure with a FPR?

you can't just add fuel randomly throughout the entire power band and expect to gain whp throughout...you'll need to get tuned with a stand alone engine management system to manage air/fuel to ensure whp gains
