im changin my z6 tranny for another one cuz its no good any more..im wondering can i use the speed sensor of the old one on the new one because that one didnt come wit it.....oh and im jw wats the purpose of the speed sensor what does it do ?

 

tells your mph to the gauge cluster and your ecu uses it for tuning purposes. without it you will pop a CEL. you can only use a sensor from a 92-95 civic 5 speed or auto whatever your transmission may be
